We are beyond proud to announce that BSPA alumnus Louis McCartney is set to shine on Broadway! Louis has been invited to reprise his role as Henry Creel in the highly anticipated Broadway transfer of Stranger Things: The First Shadow.

Louis first brought this role to life on the West End, where his performance earned rave reviews and widespread acclaim.

We wish Louis continued success and are incredibly proud of all he has achieved. The BSPA community is cheering you on, Louis—congratulations on this amazing milestone!

A massive congratulations to our incredibly talented pupil, Duarte, who will be starring as Gavroche in the UK amateur production of Les Misérables at the Grand Opera House, Belfast, produced by the Belfast Operatic Company!

Duarte will be performing on Monday, Wednesday, Friday Matinee, and Saturday Night—don’t miss your chance to see him in this iconic role.

We are so proud of you, Duarte, and can’t wait to see you shine in what promises to be an unforgettable production!

What a fantastic evening for some of our BSPA pupils, who had the incredible opportunity to perform at the prestigious World Luxury Goods Awards at Galgorm Resort!

Our pupils had an amazing time and, as always, made us incredibly proud with their performances, receiving a fantastic response from the guests.

What an unforgettable week for three of our talented BSPA pupils—Luca, Lucy, and Max—who joined the cast of the National Theatre’s production of An Inspector Calls at the Grand Opera House!

A huge thank you to the cast and backstage team for making Luca, Lucy, Max, and the entire ensemble feel so welcome. It’s been an incredible experience, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

We wish you all the best for the final two shows tomorrow—what a journey it’s been!

Last year, we were excited to offer our students the Step Up to the Microphone workshop, designed to teach essential techniques for singing with a microphone and recording in a professional studio environment.

The completed tracks were so impressive that we decided to take it a step further, offering each student the opportunity to create a video to accompany their recordings. This mash-up of their performances showcases their incredible talent, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

A huge thank you to our Director, Peter Corry, and Engineer, Lloyd Scates, for their inspiration, dedication, and hard work. And of course, a massive congratulations to the talented students: Sophie, Amelia, Blanaid, Emma, Sophia, and Cadhla. You’ve made us incredibly proud!

What an unforgettable evening at the Les Misérables Arena Spectacular! It was fantastic to see so many BSPA pupils and parents in the audience, all coming together to enjoy such an extraordinary performance.

The show was a true spectacle, featuring a stellar cast and orchestra. It was especially exciting for our pupils to see our patron, @killiandonnelly1984, in the iconic role of Jean Valjean. His performance was filled with such passion, and “Bring Him Home” was, personally, one of the evening’s highlights.

Bradley Jaden’s portrayal of Javert was nothing short of incredible, with his portrayal of Javert’s final moments—so full of anguish and emotion—leaving a lasting impact.

Two other standout performances included Éponine, whose rendition of “On My Own” was simply breathtaking, and the fabulous Bonnie Langford, whose legendary presence on stage was an absolute joy to watch.

We were also thrilled to see Raymond Walsh in the cast. It was wonderful to hear that familiar Belfast twang in Les Misérables—a local star shining on such a grand stage!
