elly has been performing from the age of two, making guest appearances alongside her theatrical family.
Kelly has trained under many leading theatrical/ performance mentors including locally with Roma Tomelty & in London with Bonnie & Nigel Lythgoe, Debbie Moore (Pineapple Dance Studio Founder) & too many more local and internationally renowned figures to name. She was trained in all aspects of performance, including speciality dance skills to tap dance on pointe- having her very own tap pointe shoes designed & made by the famous Freed Dance of London. In her years or performing she has won numerous awards including becoming the overall winner of the BBC/ RTE National TV competition ‘Let Me Entertain You’ allowing her to record & perform her own music.
Kelly has been teaching from her mid teens in various locations & performing both on the professional and amateur circuit, leading productions in the Grand Opera House, Belfast- National Concert Hall, Dublin to name a few and starring in the Premiere of a New Musical named Reqium for Julie, written by Shaun Purcell.
Kelly has been known as a triple threat throughout her career, skilled in Dance, Drama & Singing. She loves using the decades of experience she has to engage and influence her students in all three disciplines of performance, teaching them that so many of the theatrical skills they learn in class can aid them in all their life endeavours.
Kelly has assisted many young adults through their audition process to attend University Level Performing Arts studies over the years & is excited to work with the students of BSPA to engage & inspire the next generation of performers.
