Johanna Johnston

Johanna has been performing since the age of 3, beginning as a champion Irish Dancer for 13 years before taking her craft further into singing and drama lessons. That passion took her to London where she trained at The Urdang Academy for 3 years. 

Johanna’s professional credits include: Urchin – The Showman Is Coming (Theatre At The Mill & Dutch Tour), Hannah Adams – Hope Street (BBCNI), Swing/1st cover Witch & Lennox – Macbeth (Chiswick Playhouse), Saltine/Cover Leona – Beauty and The Beast (Hereford Courtyard Theatre), Tailor and Tink –Tinkerbell The Musical (Original Demo Recording), Ensemble – Érainne:A New Musical (Original Workshop Cast), Ensemble – Zombies: The Musical (Original Demo Recording). 

 Johanna also began her love of teaching over 14 years ago, and since then has taught in various locations around the world – including America, Northern Ireland, London and the Isle Of Man, and is extremely passionate about instilling her love of the arts and the joy it can bring to the young performers of today. Johanna is very excited to be joining the BSPA team after covering in previous years and seeing how wonderfully hardworking the students are.
