Stage and screen actor Fra Fee was born in Dungannon, Northern Ireland and has graduated from the University of Manchester and the Royal Academy of Music. In 2014 Fra was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.
Most notably Fra played the role of Courfeyrac in Tom Hooper’s box office hit movie “Les Miserables” in 2012 and most recently starred in the title role of Candide at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory.
Fra is currently starring as Philip Ashley in Dublin’s Gate Theatre’s acclaimed production of My Cousin Rachel at the Dock Street Theatre, Charleston, USA (22 May – 8 June 2014).
Previous theatre includes: A Man of No Importance (Salisbury Playhouse); Follies (Opéra de Toulon); Howard Goodall’s A Winter’s Tale (Landor Theatre); Les Miserables (Queens Theatre); Aladdin (Gaiety Theatre, Dublin); Fame (RTE Irish Tour); Dirty Dancing (Aldwych Theatre); The Beggar’s Opera, The Mikado, Sweeney Todd, Candide and The Rake’s Progress (Welsh National Opera/Grand Opera House, Belfast) as well as Nemorino in a production of The Elixir of Love directed by John Doyle.
