Meet the BSPA Voices
BSPA Voices is a trained choir that was formed in September 2019 due to an increasing demand for BSPA pupils to perform at high profile events such as “Responsible Business Awards” among others. It was also an opportunity to provide good choral singing to pupils with an interest in singing and a thirst to develop good choral and performance technique.
Ashley Fulton, Northern Ireland’s leading Vocal Coach and Musical Director with 20 years professional experience was the obvious choice to mentor this new choir, auditioned from pupils across all our BSPA schools.
Perfection and Excellence
With Ashley’s reputation for perfection and excellence, the pupils are receiving the best of tuition and the reputation of the choir has resulted in many corporate and charity engagements, with performances in St Anne’s Cathedral and Ulster Museum and several events that sadly have been postponed this year due to COVID-19.
The highlight last year for the choir was when they joined Peter Corry and his guests Barbara Dickson and Patrick Smyth in the wonderful setting of St Anne’s Cathedral for “ Christmas at the Cathedral”. What fabulous memories for our pupils and we look forward to many more in the future.
