Cassie Ward

Cassie Ward has always had a love for performing, having started competitive dancing at the age of three and joining BSPA Bangor in 2019 at the age of twelve. Over the six years she spent at BSPA, she developed her skills, grew in confidence, made lifelong friends, and performed in productions including ‘Aladdin’, ‘Godspell’, ‘Anything Goes’, and ‘SpongeBob’. Cassie also took part in BSPA’s 15th Anniversary show at the SSE Arena Belfast, serving as Co-Dance Captain, and in 2024 was awarded the title of ‘15 Years & Over Duet Champion’ at the Northern Ireland Dance Festival Championships in Ballymena.

Following her time at BSPA, she began working with the school alongside her studies in Adult Nursing at Queen’s University Belfast. She has loved watching the children develop new skills, grow in confidence, and shine on stage each Saturday.

Cassie is so excited to continue sharing her passion for the performing arts as part of the BSPA Newtownards Juniors team. She cannot wait to meet all the students and see them discover their own creativity, confidence, and love for performing.
