About Lloyd Scates
Music Teacher – BSPA Bangor
Lloyd currently works in Killard Special School, responsible for music in the school from Key Stage 1 to Post 16 and is the Choirmaster and Organist in Ballygrainey Presbyterian Church.
Other musical experience has included his being the Musical Director for 2nd Comber Drama group, putting on a children’s/young people’s pantomime each Christmas for the past 10 years and Head of Music at Dunmurry High School.
Lloyd studied a Diploma in Music at the University of Ulster, a BA (Hons) Music in Cambridge and a PGCE in Music and Physical Education at the University of Leeds.
He enjoys football, cycling and running but his main passion is music. He enjoys bringing his wealth of musical experience to all the pupils at BSPA Bangor.
