Drama Teacher – BSPA Belfast AM

Simon’s introduction into musical theatre was at the age of 15 in the Belfast Operatic Company production of “Oklahoma!” in the Grand Opera House. He is a graduate of Middlesex University, where he studied performance arts after which he worked professionally in London and spent 2 years as a dancer for the Disney organisation.

Since returning to Northern Ireland, Simon has played various roles in  West Side Story, The Sound of Music and in Belfast Operatic Company ‘s centenary musical production of Titanic the musical. He has had a long connection with Bart Players, one of Ulster’s leading drama groups, and this is where he made his directorial debut. 

Simon enjoys the opportunity he has to pass on his knowledge and experience to all the pupils at Belfast AM.
