Drama Teacher

Julie has a Diploma in Dramatic Art from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and also graduated with a Diploma in Acting and Musical Theatre from Hertfordshire Theatre School, and has attended Musical Theatre Workshops with Cathy Heller-Jones in New York. She is a private Acting and Musical Theatre tutor.

Julie has appeared in a number of plays (including People of Gallagher Street, A Lady of LettersLady of Lockspur LotionSomething UnspokenBelfast by MoonlightFarawayThe Witches and Oh What a Lovely War) and musicals (including Power of the MusicalAn Evening of SongSwonderful SmarvellousLes MiserablesSondheimRapunzelInto the WoodsThe Sound of Music, and Evita).

Television credits include BBC SpotlightCracking Crime (RTE)Dry Your Eyes, and Give My Head Peace. She has also appeared in television commercials for the Stephen Nolan Show, Ards Shopping Centre and Family Tax Credit, and has voice over experience. Most recently she has directed for the National Theatre Connections Festival.

Julie is delighted to be working with the students at The Belfast School of Performing Arts.
