Adam Darcy


Adam is a musical director, musician and arranger, having graduated in 2015 with a first class honors degree in Drama with Music from Edge Hill University in Liverpool. Adam has played and conducted for a number of musicals in Northern Ireland including, ‘Hairspray’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Into the Woods’, ‘Rent’, ‘Joseph’ and ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. He has also conducted the Irish premiers of ‘In the Heights’ and ‘Godspell’ (2012 Revival) at the Waterfront, Belfast.

While studying in Liverpool, Adam worked as an MD and Asst. MD on a number of plays including, East, The Good Soul of Sichuan, The Silver Tassie and the musical ‘Spring Awakening’. He has also composed and performed an original composition entitled ‘Belfast Child’ in the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool.

Adam is co-founder of youth theatre group ‘Ravara Productions’ who offer musical theatre projects to young people aged 7-24. Adam also works as Ravara’s musical director for both their musical theatre productions and their annual Christmas show which has been performed in venues including ‘Titanic Belfast’, ‘The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum’ and Belfast’s ‘Ulster Hall’.

Adam has covered for a number of BSPA schools and is looking forward to settling down and having lots of fun with the team at Belfast South
