Kat graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2009 with a PGDip in Musical Theatre. She has since been worked in theatre, TV and as a dance and Musical Theatre grades tutor. Her most recent TV work was as ‘Niamh’ in Channel 4’s TV series London Irish. In addition to this, Kat’s theatre roles have included playing ‘Marcy Parks’/ Dance Captain in Bruiser’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (MAC Belfast), ‘Kibosh Girl’ in Oh What A Lovely War! Kat has also been involved in recording work at Universal Studios, London and has performed as a supporting vocalist at the Royal Albert Hall with Sir Elton John.
Prior to her dance training through the Royal Academy’s Musical Theatre course, Kat danced at Pauline Walker’s school and also under the instruction of Deborah Maguire and Sarah Muskett.
Kat is no longer actively auditioning and, instead, is focusing on her own performance projects and on the progress of the students she teaches, both at BSPA, at various schools across Belfast, and privately.

Kat is passionate about the performing arts and strives to motivate her students to work hard, grow their talents, become the best that they can be and, above all, to enjoy the process. Her hope is to inspire and encourage the artists and musical theatre lovers of the future.
