Teacher – BSPA Bangor Juniors

Karen joined BSPA in September 2017 as Centre Manager and in 2018 she took on the lateral move to Teacher for BSPA Bangor Juniors – a role which she accepted without hesitation and has enjoyed immensely.

She has dedicated much of her spare time volunteering in the youth sector.  Her greatest achievement was choreographing and training the Girls’ Brigade National Team for their 100^th Anniversary celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall. She has also trained many winning Northern Ireland and All Ireland PE teams and has set and judged work for GBNI & GB Ireland.

Karen believes that harvesting the potential in every child especially through storytelling and drama from a very young age can improve their confidence, self- esteem, and articulation.  These critical success factors are at the heart of every lesson devised by Karen and her energetic team every Saturday morning.
