Gemma Quigley Greene
Gemma is an experienced Dance Teacher and Choreographer who trained in RAD Classical Ballet for many years taking vocational exams in England and then when qualified became a Licensed teacher for the Associated Board of Dance. Gemma is one of the co-owners of G&L Dance Academy in Dundonald and teaches Ballet, Tap, Acrobatic Arts and Musical Theatre. Gemma is also a DDMIX instructor and teaches dance in several local Primary Schools.
Gemma recently worked as a Professional Dancer in the film ‘The Lost City of Z’ due to be released in 2016 and worked alongside Sienna Miller, Charlie Hunnam and the fantastic Choreographer Diana Scrivener. Gemma performed as Roxi in Peter Corry’s highly successful Moulin Rouge themed ‘Spectacular’ Show and toured in venues around Northern Ireland and Manchester. Gemma has performed in many of the main venues within Northern Ireland both singing and dancing and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in two performances a year with amateur dramatic companies.
Gemma has choreographed for St Dominics, Belvoir Players, QUIRE Belfast, New Lyric Operatic Company, Perform Boot Camp, The Music Box and Belfast School Of Performing Arts Summer youth production Legally Blonde. Gemma started teaching for BSPA in 2015 as Head of Dance for the Ballymena School and is looking forward to taking on her new role within the Bangor School.
